Quiet country ride just outside of Walhalla. Some hills
but in the piedmont you can't really escape that. You spend the
first part of the ride just getting out of town. The middle part of the ride is
where you cut across the grain of the landscape, so you go up and down
several large hills. The latter part of the ride is milder though
still has some hills. Scenic views along the latter part of
Buzzards Roost Mountain west of town.

Intersection of South Broad Street and South Catherine Street.
Public restrooms are available a few blocks away on Main Street next to
the police station. |

In Walhalla, bikes are not
permitted on the side walks so ride with the traffic. |

Highway. Up gentle hill followed by long downhill. |

Road. Note Sweet Treats Ice Cream Shop on right. Then pass
between Nursery and Golf Course and then up hill. |

with views of mountains to the west. Long downhill slope past the "Old
House" with steep downhill ride toward the bottom (good reason to make this ride

Follow through Coffee Road intersection, past public library, cemeteries,
