This ride is a quiet country ride from Oconee
State Park. The state park is located 10.5 miles north of Walhalla
SC. Take SC 28 8.1 miles and then bear right onto SC 107. The
state park is 2 miles further on the right.
This bike ride is a scenic mountain ride with some occasional mountain
views. The road has relatively light traffic except for the
portions on Highway 107. Our directions are for following the route shown below in a
counter-clockwise direction due mainly to a big hill on highway 107 that is
easier to go down than up (the first mile of the ride).
This ride is challenging though with a lot of ups and
downs - this is not a ride at the beach by any means. So be
ready for a workout.

||Definitely not a family ride unless older children in good
shape to endure multiple hills and are road savvy. The roads have
no shoulders which is typical for upstate SC. The
route shown has relatively low traffic.
