The Elephant Hall, with a towering mammoth, mastodon and four-tusker skeletons is the highlight of the University of Nebraska State Museum, 2 miles. Both children and adults will enjoy the one of a kind Roller Skating Museum which showcases skates, costumes, and other skating memorabilia from 1819 to present. Educational experiences as well as fun and enjoyment can be found at the Folsom Childrens Zoo, and the Childrens Museum. Reconnect with nature at Pioneers Park Nature Center, 4 miles, a wildlife sanctuary with 8 miles of hiking trails.
